International Water Valley (IWV) is collaborated by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Guangdong provincial government, Dongguan local government and the Ministry of Economy, Israel, constructed and operated by Guangdong Sino-Israeli Water Treatment Innovative Industrial Park Co., Ltd. It is currently the only water-themed International Innovation Park in China.
IWV was authorized and awarded as the “National Water Treatment Technology Innovation Park” from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), China in October 2012.In November 2013, in order to implement the consensus reached by two prime ministers on establish a cooperative mechanism between China and Israel, the National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC)issued an official notification announcing IWV as one of the four key development areas on promoting "China- Israel high-tech industry cooperation”.
IWV is located in Songshan Lake Hi-tech industrial Development Zone. It has an overall land area of 253,460 square meters and floor area of 450,000 square meters. The whole construction is planned to complete in two phases. The phase I has land area of 126,670 square meters, building area of about 280,000 square meters. It has commenced construction in September 2013, will be completed in 2016.The Phase II construction will be complete in 2018.
The vision of IWV is to create a “Water Valley “in China, the “Water Valley” gathering, transforming and leading a new industry- advanced water industrial aggregation in the world. Our mission is to build a platform for advanced water technology integration, a base for hi-tech industrialization, a center for congregating elites and a center for accumulating good quality capital. 
IWV is actively integrating government resource, market provider, investment fund and quality technology together, to explore our own development model (4-2-5 model). “4-2-5” stands for "Four Platforms - Two Centers - and Five Industrial Bases". IWV is now building a healthy industrial ecosystem to achieve the vision of being the “Water Valley” in China.
